My time at vardon school.

When I first came to vardon school here I was a year five. The first class Room that I went to was Room 10. My teacher was mrs wiliamson.

fun day.

On tuesday the year6s and year5s went to vardon park for the fun day. when we got there we all got into our groups there were six groups.I was in group three.I was with Alana,Ariana,Emily,Natalie joll,Shayden,Kenly,Toby,Fabein. The activities were bounce carsel,sliprey slide,wet teshirt,Samarie warrior,cricket,sling shot. The first activitie that we done was wet teshirt. The best activitie for me was slipery slide.

hokey pokey

On Tuesday Room 13 made hokey pokey.  All of us were in groups of four except for us.  My group was Jerry, Willie, Deziah,  Oshiana and me. The  ingreadiants were 2 tbs of golden syrup, 5 tbs of sugar and stir on the stove for 4 minutes.  Then you put in 1 tbs of baking soda.  Then you mix quickly.  Then pour it on a  greased steal tray, do not pour it on a plastic tray because it will melt the plastic.

lime fizzy kitchen sience.

Today Room13 made lime fizzy drinks.The ingredients were 1tsp of b soda 2tsp of lemon juice1tbsp of icing sugar.My observation was I saw it fizz a little, it tasted disgusting.I think it needed Ice and more sugar.My one made me spew up.My conclusion was that I need to be more accuste with measuremints The materials that I used were Icing sugar water flavouring lemon juice baking soda spoons.plastic cup.

On the 22th of October Room 13 did a kitchen chemistry experiment   This is one of the photos that we took.  This photo was my favourite one because it has all the test tubes together.

On Tuesday Room13. made patterns this was my pattern that I made.

Americans cup.

This morning at 8.15 am on breakfast the boat racing had started.  Fortunately the wind conditions were good.   Far away from the start line was the golden gate bridge.  It is being held in San Fransico. The skipper for team NZ is Dean Barker.  Twenty four years ago we won the American cup.  Bad news is Oracle are a tie with team NZ.  Fingers crossed NZ win.  The scores at the moment are Emirates 8 Oracle 8.
